I never got what people saw in Quan Zhi Fa Shi. It's exciting, but that's all it is. The script logic follows something barely better than that of Digimon screen writing. Nobody knows how to use their elements, despite being "professionals". The plot is everywhere and only follows the line of "MC meets bad guy and gets in the way, wins, new bad guy comes, he wins", rinse and repeat. The best part about it is the animation, and that is one of the few reasons I even kept watching beyond the first season. I couldn't take it after it kept getting worse in season 3.

yeah I watched the first 3 season's they were good. the professionals did know how to use their magic. it was the teenagers who could not use their magic that good as they are just starting to learn how to control it. season 3 was a bit scuffed but the story was not all over the place. actually it was very easy to follow if you actually watched it and payed attention. as everything happens in order.
